Hugo is a voice-first daily news briefing. Every morning it prepares a short spoken edition in four categories — General, U.S., Business, and Technology — that you can listen to and interrupt with questions, like talking to a well-read friend.

Common questions

• I didn’t get my sign-in code. Codes are valid for ten minutes. Check your spam folder, then use the “Resend code” button on the verification screen — it becomes available after a short cooldown.
• Hugo can’t hear me. Hugo needs microphone access to hold a conversation. If you declined the prompt, iOS will not ask again: enable it in Settings › Hugo › Microphone. You can still read the day’s briefing as text in the app without the microphone.
• Today’s briefing isn’t there yet. A new edition is prepared early each morning. If it has not published, Hugo plays the most recent edition and tells you which day it is reading.
• How do I delete my account? In the app, open Settings and choose Delete account. This is permanent and removes your account and profile immediately. You can also email us and we will do it for you.

Report content or a concern

Hugo summarises news from third-party publishers using AI, and it can be wrong or incomplete. It is not a substitute for the original reporting, and the source list for every story is shown in the app. If a briefing contains something inaccurate, objectionable, or unsafe, email hugonewsai@gmail.com and we will review it.
